Great job explaining this new technology in terms that are easy to understand. I have used VM’s before and would certainly give Sandbox Technology a try but for the average home user, I think they have to either integrate into windows OS or make very very very easy to use and comprehend.

I agree… sandbox technology is not yet simple enough to set up and use for the average user… but it’ll get there in time.

VERY well written and illustrated. I have read that future versions of Adobe Reader will use sandbox technology and perhaps future browsers as well. I prefer VMware player for personal sandboxing, it gives me the flexibility of having a Linux environment in the Windows desktop without having to reboot.
I appreciate the fact that you are trying to help people with security related matters. We share in that interest, but you are actually blogging. Good job! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the encouraging comment! Yeah making time to blog like this can be challenging (and not financially rewarding yet…) … but I do enjoy it, so will keep going!
