Roughly 16% of the world’s long distance travelers are business travelers. With the average cost of a business trip costing an average of $1,000 per person, you’d think employers would be slower to schedule business trips. Not to mention the time away from daily tasks on the job, or the toll it takes on employee moral being away from home. Why then is business travel still so common? Is it really worth the cost?
