If you ask me what my favorite meal of the day is, it’s a tough choice between breakfast and lunch. Luckily though there exists a fantastic meal that bridges the gap between these meal time powerhouses, you guessed it, it’s brunch!
Brunch is amazing, waffles, chicken, mimosas, anything goes! But which cities give you the best bang for your buck when it comes to brunch prices? And if you’re a brunch aficionado, where should you move to so you can afford more brunches?
To answer this burning question, the people at Sky Blue Credit conducted a detailed brunch investigation looking at the cities paying the most, and least for their brunch, including those morning mimosas!
Interestingly, the cheapest and most expensive brunches in the country are nearly next door to each other. Portland has the cheapest average brunch with Portland residents paying on average $7.20 for their meals.
Spare a thought for the people of Seattle when you next dig into your chicken and waffles, sadly Seattleites pay the most for their brunch spending a whopping $15.06 on average.
But what about my mimosas I hear you ask? Well, if you’re a heavy mimosa drinker, you may want to consider moving to Austin as it seems that Texans are paying on average of $4.75 per mimosa!
The most expensive mimosa’s in the country? that award shockingly goes to Nashville Tennessee with mimosas costing an astronomical $11 on average! Thinking about this though, this may have something to do with Nashville being the countries bachelorette capital!
Regardless of where you live, we can all agree that brunch is great and if you think about it, technically you’re always saving money as no doubt having breakfast and lunch individually, will always be more expensive than the best meal known as brunch.
